This place had a garden with free WiFi, which was great because I need to update my social status even while surrounded by nature. And the fireplace? Oh, it made me feel like I was in a posh cabin, darling.
Because who needs hand soap and dish cloths? Just adding those would've been too much, darling.

The views were absolutely breathtaking, it was like something out of a dream. The host was beyond amazing, super friendly and made us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were surrounded by stunning nature, with plenty of walks and beaches to explore at our doorstep. The town was just a short walk away, with lots of options for dining and shopping. The house had everything we needed and more, even a warm fire waiting for us on a chilly day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be coming back!

Ursula, our host, was amazing! Flexible check-in, complimentary bottle of wine, and great recommendations. the apartment had all the essentials, including coffee facilities and cooking utensils. We enjoyed a fantastic BBQ and the location was peaceful and just a short walk to town.

We got such great value for our money at Hornhead Mews. The room was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was stunning with spectacular views and a peaceful atmosphere. Ursula, our host, was fantastic and gave us wonderful recommendations on places to visit. The 15-minute walk into town was a nice way to explore the area.
The food for breakfast could have been better if there were more options available.

amazing views, welcoming host and homely space. Lots of beautiful walks and beaches to explore. Dunfanaghy only a short walk away. Ursula, our host, was delightful and easy to communicate with. Tramore Beach right on our doorstep for a secluded and enjoyable hike.
Upgrade needed on mattresses.

our recent stay in dunfanaghy exceeded all expectations. hornhead mews was a perfect choice for an overnight stay. ursula, our fantastic host, made our stay memorable with her flexibility, welcoming nature, and great recommendations. the apartment had all the necessary amenities, and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. we will definitely be back!

We truly felt at home at Hornhead Mews, thanks to our delightful and conversational host, Ursula. The quiet and peaceful countryside surroundings, along with the stunning views, made our stay truly memorable. We enjoyed the short hike to Tramore Beach and having the whole place to ourselves. The well-equipped apartment had thoughtful extras, such as washing machine pods, and we appreciated the little back deck where we could relax. Ursula's flexibility and the pleasant atmosphere made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this accommodation for a homely and peaceful stay.
And while there were a few drawbacks, such as the distance from Dunfanaghy village being slightly more than indicated and the lack of hand soap and dishcloths, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise fantastic stay. we had a wonderful time at Hornhead Mews and would definitely consider staying longer next time.
